(BRUSSELS)
Millennial-led startups will be the headline act at next week’s European Innovation Summit in Brussels.
Now in its ninth year, the annual Summit is the leading cross-sectoral event for the continent’s innovation economy.
And the EU50 Startups platform is a major new addition to the programme for 2017. It will see 50 early-stage companies participate in a packed-out startup Convention, taking place in the Hemicycle of the European Parliament next Tuesday.
Summit organisers, Knowledge4Innovation, are spearheading the new initiative — in cooperation with IncubatorEurope and Glowfly.
Dr Roland Strauss, Managing Director of Knowledge4Innovation, said he wants it to “empower the region’s most promising young founders” and help them bring their “solutions for major challenges” to market.
Innovators Magazine is an official media partner for the Summit and will have a special EU50 edition available on site, which will have news on all 50 – and an exclusive interview with Bertrand Piccard, a keynote speaker at the Convention.
