The Impact Communications Programme is for young women under 25 who are passionate about using the power of communication to build a better world for all. It is a collaborative initiative operated in partnership with OnePoint5Media, designed to support UN Global Goal 5, to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
Carlotta de Toni was the first to join the programme, before going on to finish her studies in the Netherlands. As well as traveling to events across Europe, one in Asia, and delivering a keynote for the magazine at Global Game Changers, the world’s first awards event recognising innovators advancing the Global Goals, Carlotta implemented her own ideas, including an Instagram journey through the SDGs and a magazine podcast. She also successfully completed the renowned Climate Reality Leadership training, after our editor-at-large, Marc Buckley, urged her to apply.
Carlotta said: “To this day, the best professional experience! Susan Robertson and Iain Robertson you are wonderful human beings applying care and empathy to all you do and everyone you meet. It has been brief, yet incredibly exciting and enriching. I am honored that I could contribute to the journey of Innovators Magazine and OnePoint5Media. Ad maiora semper!”
