EIT Digital Challenge

‘The EIT Digital Challenge is the premier pan-European competition for digital deep tech scaleups. The top 20 companies selected will be invited to an exclusive event to pitch in front of a panel of experts and investors and to participate in the matchmaking sessions with invited corporates and investors. The winners will receive waived entry into the 12-month Accelerator Program worth €50,000. They will also get dedicated services in international Access to Finance and Business Development by the EIT Digital Accelerator team.’

AIP Seed 2.0 fund

Open to startups in central and eastern Europe (CEE) this €25 million fund offers up to €250k to early-stage startups. More than 30 startups will be supported annually through the AIP Seed 2.0 early-stage investment fund, which is targeting the most promising young companies from the CEE. Through its unique model the fund will evaluate and respond to startups within a week.

An initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation, the latest grand prize focus is on: Extreme Weather-Proof Batteries. It ‘aims at incentivising global scientific communities to accelerate the research on building better batteries that can withstand extreme weather conditions. The winner, who will receive $1 million. will be the ‘team that can design and test a battery that endures extreme weather for a specified duration’.
