‘The 776 Fellowship Program is a two-year program for young people who want to build a better future by tackling climate change. 776 Fellows receive up to a $100,000 grant and support from the Seven Seven Six network. The Fellowship Program gives 20 remarkable people aged 24 and under the chance to spend two years working on the bright idea that’s keeping them up at night.’

Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship

Readers of the journal, Nature, can share a selection of their favourite photographs ‘from their working lives’. Winners, picked by a panel of the publication’s staff, will feature in an issue of Nature, and also ‘receive a full print and online subscription to the magazine as well as a cash prize’.

The Iris Prize 2025

Iris Goldsmith is an inspiring figure who loved the beauty of the natural world. She sadly died aged 15 but lives on through the amazing work of the Iris Project founded in her memory. The Iris Prize is a big part of this and it is now open across three categories: The Seed Prize, $5k, for ages 14-24, awarded to a ‘young person or team with a groundbreaking idea to protect and/or restore nature in their local community’; The Stem Prize, $10k, for ages 16-24, awarded to an ‘existing project established recently and on a small scale’; and The Iris Prize, $15k, for ages 16-24, awarded to an ‘established project with the potential to replicate and scale’.

Global Lens: Visions of Resilience

A brand-new film festival and competition launched at the iconic Sundance Film Festival is inviting filmmakers to bring the Resilience Frontiers pathways of transformative change to the big screen.Resilience Frontiers (RF)—the foresight initiative under the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) — has partnered with Perry World House (PWH) at the University of Pennsylvania to the launch the new film festival focused on short documentaries featuring stories of resilience. The Global Lens: Visions of Resilience competition will accept submissions five minutes in length or less via FilmFreeway. Using the storylines of the RF’s eight transformative pathways as a guide, films should offer a glimpse at an Earth-positive future.

Korean Market Accelerator Program

This global initiative is for high-potential international tech and service-based startups with up to ten years of experience, looking to access and succeed in the Korean market. There is a prize pool totalling $400,000 USD, with top awards up to $150,000 for ‘standout performers’. It also has a comprehensive support package including ‘acceleration programs, subsidies, prize money, office space, and more, from September 2025 to April 2026’. This program says it offers an ‘incredible opportunity for growth and expansion into one of Asia’s leading innovation hubs’.
