Politics impacts just about every aspect of our lives, innovation likewise – so the two should work well together to maximise their potential.
This will be discussed in depth during a session at the upcoming 10th anniversary European Innovation Summit, titled: European Elections – Innovations for Improving the Lives of European Citizens. It will also provide the setting for a new initiative launch offering support to Members of the European Parliament during their 2019 election campaign.
“Whereas the initiative has a thematic focus on innovation and emerging technologies, the participating startups, that are specialising in ‘government technologies’, will explain how they can support MEPs to successfully manage and lead their campaign from the ‘use of online platforms’ to ‘knock at the door’ strategies,” the online EIS programme states about the breakfast debate on 28 November that will launch the new platform.
