Why is gender equality in STEM key?

Beyond the natural desire to ensure equality of opportunity for all – what are the benefits of achieving it in an area like STEM?

We’ll be discussing this question in our Twitter chat, which we’re doing in partnership with Knowledge4Innovation (K4I), on 22 March at 1pm CET. We’re delighted that Croatian Member of the European Parliament (MEP), Ivana Maletić, who heads up K4I, an organisation that fosters a culture of innovation across the European Union, will join the conversation, along with a group of expert panellists.

And we need you to join us and contribute your ideas to the hour-long chat on gender equality (SDG5) and STEM via #WomeninSTEM

Subscribe to our free newsletter to get all the updates on the Twitter chat.

You can also join our impact comms lead, Carlotta De Toni, on Instagram. Carlotta will be talking about all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals in the coming weeks.
