Startups urged to enter Asian market

(SOUTH KOREA)

The countdown is on for startups who want to take part in the K-Startup Grand Challenge 2017 and gain a foothold in the buoyant Asian market.

The four month accelerator in South Korea is supported by the national government and a number of the country’s world famous tech companies, including Samsung and LG. Disruptors working across a range of areas, like IoT, AI, big data, biotech, fintech, gaming and wearables can apply but game changing pioneers from any sector will be considered.

Prizes up to $100,000 are on offer to the 50 startups selected to take part in the programme. Plus there are all the benefits of mentoring by major organisations, access to key investors and space at a brand new campus for young companies based on the outskirts of Seoul.

Interested startups need to apply by June 7.
