From bagging Saudi citizenship to giving keynote speeches, the Sophia Robot – created by Hanson Robotics – is making a pretty big impact.
We reported last October the life-like Sophia proclaiming her delight at being granted Saudi citizenship. And now, fittingly, given it is the alma matter of David Hanson, CEO of Hanson Robotics – Sophia has been addressing students at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), urging them “to bring to the world a different kind of dream—a dream that wakes people up to their better selves.”
