Cities around the world are welcoming the Refugee Food Festival this summer – with restaurants turning their kitchens over to refugee chefs.
A ‘citizens’ initiative’ from Food Sweet Food – supported by the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissionner for refugees), Brussels, Paris, San Francisco are among the cities taking part this year. The event seeks to change perceptions on refugees and accelerate their professional integration.
