The 20th anniversary of the Tokyo Game Show attracted more than a quarter of a million visitors this year.

Japan’s capital city became the centre of the multi-billion dollar gaming industry during this year’s showcase for the industry, which came to a close yesterday.

The theme of this year’s landmark event was ‘Press Start to Play the Future’ and those attending experienced the very latest developments from this rapidly changing sector. There was a big focus on the newest technologies such as VR and AI – with the new VR Area drawing generating a lot of excitement.

Next year’s Tokyo Game Show is schedule for September 21 to 24 at Makuhari Messe.
