‘Food systems can be fixed’

Global hunger levels are rising but food systems can still be fixed to achieve the #ZeroHunger ambition of the Global Goals, according to our Editor-at-Large.

Watch Marc Buckley’s reaction to the State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2019 (SOFI) report released this week, which revealed the scale of the challenge ahead, with statistics showing hunger levels have risen for the third year.

The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2019 is presented by FAO with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the World Food Programme (WFP), and the World Health Organization (WHO).
