To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Innovators Magazine in 2025, every month this year we will publish some of our milestone moments: the stories, podcasts, new initiatives and projects that have shaped our journey so far. Here’s the announcement of Marc Buckley as our new editor-at-large in 2018, now also host of the Inside Ideas podcast.

We are delighted to announce that Marc Buckley is going to be our Editor-at-large, and co-host of the new podcast: Talks at Innovators Magazine (now Inside Ideas).
A member of the Expert Network for the World Economic Forum, Marc also works with the World Food Programme, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and is the Germany and Austria Country Coordinator for Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project – to name a few of his roles. He also leads the award-winning Alohas Eco-Center project, which is rewriting what constitutes sustainable food production.
Marc will provide insight, analysis and opinion on cross-sector innovations and actions impacting the Global Goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). And he will co-host the Talks podcast with Carlotta De Toni, our Engagement Lead, and recent graduate of the Climate Reality Leadership training.
On the what impact innovation means to him, Marc said: “Impact innovations disrupt, help or solve more than a million people’s problem or address a Global Grand Challenge through meaningful impact to society and markets. It means bringing exponential impact innovations to solve people and planetary problems in exponential times.”
As our COP24 Editor, Marc will produce coverage next month from the Katowice climate event – supported by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF, known in English as: Doctors Without Borders). Sign up for our updates to get our COP24 coverage straight to your inbox.
