Food disruptors wanted

(USA)

Innovative young companies working to transform the food industry are being encouraged to pitch for an accelerator platform being backed by Nestlé USA – before applications close tomorrow.

The Terra Food + Agtech Accelerator program in San Francisco targets the ‘most disruptive startups’. And Nestlé USA announced earlier this year it is collaborating with Rabobank and RocketSpace – who run the initiative.

Rui Barbas, chief strategy officer, Nestlé USA, said: “When we combine the resources of Nestlé with the creativity and new thinking born from the startup culture, we can create real change in our industry and best deliver on consumer needs.”
