The UN Global Goals provide an international blueprint for achieving a sustainable and fair world for all by 2030.
Innovators Magazine and Newsquest Media will celebrate the pioneering industries, ecosystems and individuals working to deliver the #GlobalGoals at this year’s cross-sector awards event, Global Game Changers. Open to all, the ceremony will be held at Glasgow’s Grand Central Hotel on 12 September, with a keynote speech from Marc Buckley, a respected advocate of the Goals.
There are 10 categories, which recognise women in innovation, STEM educators, efforts to zero hunger, young pioneers, corporates for good, startups, intrapreneurship, moonshot thinking, the circular economy and collaboration. Winners will have to explain how their innovation impacts on one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
