Are you involved with a project that is tackling climate change?
Because if you are, you should consider applying for recognition by Momentum for Change’s 2018 Lighthouse Activities initiative. Backed by the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat, it celebrates the most ‘innovative, scalable and replicable’ ways different groups, including businesses, governments, organisations, communities and cities, are combatting climate change.
Projects picked as a ‘winning activity’ will win their place at the 2018 UN Climate Change Conference in Katowice, Poland; and a range of other benefits – including direct access to potential investors and decision-makers, acknowledgement by the UN Climate Change secretariat, promotion and public relations support.
“By showcasing these remarkable examples of creativity and transformational change, along with the extraordinary people behind them, we can inspire everyone to be an accelerator towards the kind of future we all want and need,” said Patricia Espinosa UNFCCC Executive Secretary.
All the details are on the Momentum for Change Lighthouse Activity web pages. Applications need to be in by 30 April.
