Minneapolis is the latest American city to commit to moving to 100% renewable energy.
The city council voted unanimously this week, and became the 65th city in the country to make the pledge, stating it intends to shift to 100% clean power by 2030. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey also announced he has signed up to the Sierra Club’s Mayors for 100% Clean Energy campaign.
