Iris Goldsmith is an inspiring figure who loved the beauty of the natural world. She died aged 15 but lives on through the amazing work of the Iris Project founded in her memory.
The Iris Prize is a big part of this and it is now open across three categories: The Seed Prize, $5k, for ages 14-24, awarded to a ‘young person or team with a groundbreaking idea to protect and/or restore nature in their local community’; The Stem Prize, $10k, for ages 16-24, awarded to an ‘existing project established recently and on a small scale’; and The Iris Prize, $15k, for ages 16-24, awarded to an ‘established project with the potential to replicate and scale’.
The relationship between Iris and nature continues to strengthen through the Prize and the Iris Project – and it’s thanks to Iris others can also enjoy this deep relationships with nature. Thank you Iris!
