USA – One of the world’s most renowned names in biotech innovation is asking for support so it can maximise its impact in tackling societal challenges.
The small team at the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI) in California has made some of the sector’s most notable breakthroughs, including ‘sequencing the first draft human genome’ and ‘constructing the first synthetic bacterial cell’. Both were made possible thanks to philanthropic support. And the newly launched JCVI Genomic Frontier Fund will invest in accelerating its groundbreaking work. Watch and listen to founder J. Craig Venter speak about the fund and learn how you can help the Institute go further.
