Disney is supporting the next generation of game-changers in their quest to reshape the media and entertainment industries.
It welcomed 11 startups this week, all members of the Disney accelerator, to pitch their ideas and innovations to the company’s decision-makers; investors and industry leaders. The event was held at Walt Disney Studios in California.
“Technological innovation has always been a core value of The Walt Disney Company, and the Disney Accelerator allows us to connect with new ideas, entrepreneurs and innovation from around the world,” explained Michael Abrams, Senior Vice President, Innovation, The Walt Disney Company. “Eleven companies that we now consider a part of our extended Disney family shared their vision for the future, and we look forward to continued collaboration with all of them.”
The 11 are pioneering a range of new tech platforms, linked to robotics, esports, media production, real-time entertainment – and more. Check them all out here.
