New money on the table for European innovators

Check out these opportunities for innovators working in tech, wind power, and alternative proteins:

  • TrustChain, a project funded by the European Commission, is looking for developers, innovators, researchers, SMEs and entrepreneurs working on different Next Generation Internet (NGI) relevant topics and applications domains at the intersection between the technical field, the social sciences and humanities, as well as any others including economics, environment, art design, which can contribute to NGI TrustChain relevant vision. In this first Open Call, Decentralised digital identity, 15 projects get up to €117k. Apply by 10 April.
  • A partnership initiative between the Poul la Cour Foundation and WindEurope, the Award is open to ‘anyone who’s made a unique and lasting improvement to the development and use of wind power in Europe’ with the prize presented just after the WindEurope Annual Event Poster Awards Ceremony in Copenhagen, on 26 April. Check out the 2021 winner for inspiration. And you can nominate a candidate to win the award. Apply by 13 March.
  • Agrifood innovators moving Europe towards a net zero food system are being urged to apply for a share of a multi-million euro funding pot on offer through the EIT Food open innovation call, with the call providing up to €20 million in total funding for collaborative food innovation projects. The call is open to projects advancing one of the following goals: a net zero food system; healthier lives through food; a fully transparent, fair and resilient food system. Apply by 13 April.
