(AUSTRALIA)
A pioneering energy tech company in Brisbane has been awarded $5 million.
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) will provide NOJA Power with the investment, which will enable it to develop and then deploy smart switchgear at 100 locations across the Queensland network. The technology will enable the real-time capture of data to maintain a stable grid system.
“This new Australian-led technology will not only create a new innovation we can export to the world but will also benefit our whole electricity system by giving us greater visibility over our distribution networks and allow for more variable renewable energy,” said ARENA Chief Executive Ivor Frischknech.
