Netflix Canada on the hunt for indigenous on-screen content creators

Canada’s Indigenous Screen Office (ISO) and Netflix have teamed up to offer funding support to indigenous content creators resident in Canada.

The funding call is open to ‘First Nations, Inuit or Métis persons residing in Canada’ who are ‘working in screen-based content, including TV, film, web, gaming, apps, and XR (VR, AR)’. Companies in Canada that are at least 51% Indigenous-controlled can also apply.

The application deadline is 8 March. For more information and the chance to earn a grant of up to $30,000 read here.
