Farmers in Australia will soon be able to access clean energy and fertiliser through a groundbreaking new biodigester system.
The prototype was unveiled by the Victorian Government this month. Developed by Gekko, it is a shipping container specially engineered to convert bio waste into cheaper electricity, gas and odour free fertiliser.
The biodigester will also help reduce emissions, with the first unit due to be installed on a dairy farm within the next few months.
