One of our big stories this week has been the launch of Global Game Changers (GGC) 2018 – an event biotechs enjoyed big successes at in 2017.
We are partnering with Newsquest International on the awards again this year, which celebrates cross-sector impact towards the UN Global Goals. Last year biotechs picked up two gongs, with 3fbio collecting the circular economy award, while James McIlroy walked away with the young pioneers title. His company, EnteroBiotix, works to prevent and treat diseases by unlocking the potential of the body’s own micro-organisms by using healthy donor bacteria to fight infection.
