Global Game Changers 2018 in Glasgow next month will be an opportunity to celebrate and inspire innovation that impacts the UN Global Goals.
One of the world’s first cross-sector platforms rewarding impact towards the #GlobalGoals – Innovators Magazine and Newsquest Media first launched the event in 2017, a year after the Goals officially came into force. It is also designed as an awareness raiser for the Global Goals and for those who take part and join the ceremony.
The 2018 entries are up 100% – on last year – for the awards element, with applications in from more than a dozen countries, and we only announced details of this year’s Global Game Changers six weeks ago; the judging is going to be really tough.
As well as revealing the 10 winners, the evening’s packed programme will include live entertainment, Sustainability Street, borderless cross-sector networking, a dinner – with vegan menu option (the choice of Innovators Magazine), with accompanying food waste pledge.
We will also be trying out new ways of facilitating meaningful connections between attendees during the event.
