(GLASGOW)
Innovation and sustainability will take centre stage in Scotland this week.
The Global Game Changers awards, launched by Innovators Magazine and the Herald Scotland earlier this year, will be held at the Glasgow Science Centre on Wednesday night. It will recognise leaders in the innovation economy and those helping to deliver a sustainable future, especially when it comes to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
One of the categories will celebrate circular economy pioneers. Jaw Brew, the Glasgow beer maker working miracles with bread, is one of those in contention for the circular economy gong, along with biotech companies Celtic Renewables and 3f bio; and energy engineering firm Synergie Environ.
Tickets for the ceremony, which will take place on 13 September at the Glasgow Science Centre, are still available.
