|7 April 2017|

MILAN

A new initiative has been launched to support startups working in food innovation.

Seed&Chips, the global food innovation summit being held in Milan next month, and creative communications company 63DE-SIGN have launched the NEXTFOOD AWARD by Image Line designed to provide marketing knowhow to up-and-coming food innovators. Sponsors Image Line are specialists in digital solutions for agriculture. All those involved in the award will be able to offer invaluable insight into what makes a brand work.

The judges are looking for products that reduce the impact on the environment and boast strong sustainability credentials. Full details are available on the awards website now and startups meeting the criteria are encouraged to apply.

Ivano Valmori, CEO and founder of Image Line, said: “Technological innovation is becoming a major driver of change in the food industry and its players. I am convinced that if we recognise its value agri-food sector will gain great advantages in terms of competitiveness and sustainability. That’s why we decided to support the realization of the NEXTFOOD AWARD by Image Line.”

The award ceremony will be held at next month’s Seed&Chips event in Milan, Rho Fair, 8-11 May 2017.
