Financial backing for synthetic biology projects

|28 April 2016|

International synthetic biology research projects could receive a major funding boost by collaborating with the world leading research talents within Scottish universities.

The country’s Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC) is offering up to $1.5million through its Synthetic Biology Accelerator.

Now it’s the time for the international community to get involved with IBioIC and Scotland’s World Class Syn Bio academic excellence in this newly opened call. I would encourage all businesses in this space to explore this competitive opportunity to establish if Scotland can offer the academic solution and breakthrough you seek,” Caroline Strain, National Manager, Chemical Sciences at Scottish Enterprise said.
