European institutions are implementing a range of initiatives to grow the circular economy.

A comprehensive new European strategy on plastics was launched this month, as political leaders ramp up efforts to deliver a circular continent.

Now a new ‘visualisation tool’ has been developed by the European Union’s statistical office, Eurostat, to inform people how well countries are performing in shifting to a sustainable future.

And next month, a circular economy stakeholder conference in Brussels will play its part in maintaining this momentum for change.
