Europe presents golden new opportunity for women-led tech startups

The EIT Supernovas Rocket Up programme is now open to women-led startups located outside – as well as inside the EU – with sights on impacting European markets.

The programme focusses on five different activities: three dedicated to boosting knowledge and skills relating to investment, both in venture capital and as business angels; the other two targeted at women looking to expand into new markets or improve their leadership skills.

“By opening the Rocket Up programme to startups from outside Europe, we aim to reach more entrepreneurs globally, bringing their talent and innovations into the region,” said Celeste Reglá, Manager of the Rocket Up programme. “This expansion aligns with our commitment to addressing the gender gap in the tech startup ecosystem, where only 15% of companies are led by women, while driving collaboration across borders.”

The application deadline is 31 March. For more details, visit Supernovas Rocket Up’s portal.
