Dutch uni discusses zero hunger goal

A Dutch university is hosting a conference later this year focussed on UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number two – to zero hunger.

The Wageningen University & Research institution is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. And in August it will host a conference at its campus – and online – with the title: ‘towards zero hunger – partnerships for impact’. Key stakeholders will gather to ‘discuss their views and contributions for achieving the SDGs, and to take action towards reaching the targets and partnerships’.

While the e-conference element is a ‘digital platform in which students and young professionals worldwide can engage with each other to exchange knowledge and create solutions to challenges related to zero hunger’.

The programme takes place on 30 and 31 August. Visit the event website to find out how to get involved.
