The Croatian Chamber of Economy is organising the 3rd International Conference on Sustainability in Croatia – a central event on sustainability which every year attracts participants from all sectors of the economy, this year under the title Support Sustainability 2022 – Together For A More Resilient Future.
The conference will take place at Lauba in Zagreb on 27 September – and there are three main topics for this year’s edition:
- Managing opportunities and business with a purpose (Net positive)
- Circular planning – business models according to the principles of the circular economy
- Accelerating towards Net-zero and sustainable investment.
This conference will have a strong international and European perspective, and I am delighted to be giving a keynote at the event, joining a group of exceptional speakers, including Andrew Winston, an international sustainability expert, and co-author, with Paul Polman, of the book: Net positive: How Courageous Companies Thrive by Giving More Than They Take, as well as titles including The Big Pivot and Green to Gold, selected as One of the top 50 Management Thinkers in the World (Thinkers 50).
Daria Krivonos, CEO of the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, an expert on megatrends and managing strategic risks; Sasja Beslik: chief investment officer of SDG Impact Japan and an expert in sustainable finance, and Ladeja Godina Košir, founder and executive director of Circular Change, an international expert on circular economy and co-author of the first Circular Economy Roadmap, are also part of what is an excellent lineup.
Renowned Croatian sustainability experts and CEOs will also be joining the conference, by presenting their best practice examples and the challenges they face on the road to achieving a more sustainable future.
