(SCOTLAND)
An organisation in Scotland is proving to be one of the best in the world at bringing together industry and academia to create fresh and exciting collaborations.
Interface is a bridge between the country’s business community and its internationally renowned universities and research institutions.
To further bolster these links, the Interface Multiparty Competition has been launched. It is open to groups of four or more parties – including an academic from a Scottish university, college or research institution – from a range of sectors, including food and drink.
Suzanne Dawson, Head of Sector Relationships at Interface, said: “This competition is a fantastic opportunity for groups of businesses to enable change which could bring benefit throughout their industry by working with Scotland’s academic expertise, which is renowned for its ability to tackle real-life business challenges.
“We want to enable businesses to be more competitive in national and global markets working in partnership with like-minded businesses and our world-leading academics.”
A pot of £30,000 will be shared by projects related to food and drink, creative industries, and tourism.
Interface is looking for partnership initiatives which “benefit an entire industry and result in new products, processes or services”.
The deadline for initial applications is Tuesday 30 May 2017. Visit the Interface website for more information.
