The 2018 European Green Capital is a pretty good place for policy makers and business leaders to sit down and talk sustainability and the circular economy.
And that’s exactly what will happen in the Dutch City of Nijmegen with the EcoProcura conference this October. Innovators Magazine is a media partner with the event, which will focus on ‘sustainable, circular and innovation procurement’ in Europe.
“Join 400 other procurers, policy makers, businesses, researchers and international organisations to find out about European policy developments and international initiatives and share experiences on procurement tools, good practice, processes, research, projects and initiatives,” the event website states.
There is a great lineup of speakers for the conference, including Dr Bertrand Piccard. We featured the serial pioneer earlier this week for the work his Solar Impulse Foundation is doing to communicate to the world that ‘protecting the environment is profitable’.
