Can biotechs repeat their success?

With one week to go to enter Global Game Changers 2018, we’re asking: can biotechs repeat the success they enjoyed at the event in 2017?

As well as 3fbio picking up the circular economy gong, James McIlroy collected the young pioneers title last year for the progress made by his company, EnteroBiotix, which strives to prevent and treat diseases by tapping into the potential of the body’s own micro-organisms and using healthy donor bacteria to fight infection.

September’s Global Game Changers, which we’re running again this year in partnership with Newsquest Media, has Joanna Dupont-Inglis, Deputy Secretary General, EuropaBio, on the judging panel. The platform rewards cross-sector impact towards the UN Global Goals, and Joanna wrote about biotechs and the Goals in our recent special edition on the industry – see the digital version below.

Ten categories are open until 2 August, and the awards is open to all. So come on biotechs – apply now and see if you can’t exceed your 2017 achievements.

The ceremony is on 12 September at Glasgow’s famous Grand Central Hotel, and includes a keynote from #GlobalGoals advocate, Marc Buckley.
