Attention all deep tech startups

The Building Global Innovators (BGI) Accelerator programme is searching for startups developing solutions ‘capable of meeting the challenges of an ever-changing world’.

BGI is increasingly committed to building global innovators in sustainable businesses.

BGI CEO, Gonçalo Amorim

The 13th edition of the accelerator is offering early stage companies the chance to win new investment, meet potential partners and create pilots with key companies in the industry they operate.

“Through the BGI Accelerator, BGI has already helped startups to raise a total of 264 million euros and now has a portfolio composed of seven exits: BigAR, DoDoc, Movvo, Muzzley, Mediwis, Samebug and Turflynx – and the two most recent Portuguese unicorns, Feedzai and SwordHealth,” BGI said.

The accelerator is open to startups with a minimum viable product (MPV) in one of 4 verticals: Medical Devices & Health Care; Smart Cities & Industry 4.0; Blockchain Applications & AI; Water Economy.

The deadline for applications is 15 April.
