Thanks to support from the European Commission a German startup is improving air quality in urban spaces. Green City Solutions is behind the City Tree innovation, a moss air filter that ‘transforms harmful gases into clean air’.
More and more people are choosing to live in cities. Around 68% are predicted to be living in one by 2050 – up from 55% today. That makes the City Tree a savvy idea for Europe to invest in. Early stage companies targeting solutions to major challenges should check out the different types of funding support available to them through the European Commission.
