The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will discuss the role of the circular economy at its conference starting tomorrow.
Under the theme ‘Partnering for impact — achieving the Sustainable Development Goals’ (SDGs), the UNIDO event in Vienna will welcome world leaders from government, industry, academia and civil society. They will look at the work UNIDO does worldwide to advance inclusive and sustainable industrial development (ISID), which is particularly relevant to SDG 9, to ‘promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization‘.
Finding innovative ways to integrate circular economy practices into industrial development projects is a hot topic – and one that is on the agenda at the week-long conference. Follow the live stream to keep up with the debate and use #UNIDOGC to join the conversation on social media.
Our #UNIDOGC will feature themes of #gender, the #circulareconomy, #industry40 & more. Head over to our website to find detailed information about the programme and side events: https://t.co/vgfkHB5ojj pic.twitter.com/GoPXK4EMhA
