Award to recognise circular pioneer

(SCOTLAND)

The circular economy will take centre stage at this year’s Global Game Changers awards in Glasgow.

We launched Game Changers with Newsquest International in 2017. It is one of the world’s first cross-sector awards celebrating innovations and ideas accelerating the delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Applications will open in 10 categories – including circular economy, tech, the future of food, collaboration and intrapreneurship – at the end of the month; with the circular breakthrough award one of the gongs up for grabs.

UN SDG advocate, Marc Buckley, will give the keynote speech at this year’s event, which will be held in the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow, on 12 September – and in London in 2019. Read our Q&A with Marc in the spring launch edition of Impact Innovators, produced in collaboration with Knowledge4Innovation.
