(GERMANY)
There are a host of food and agriculture events being held during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP23) currently taking place in Bonn.
Nordic Food Day is next up, tomorrow, as the importance of developing innovative and sustainable food systems – that can feed a growing global population – becomes a priority for international stakeholders from industry and government.
A new study reported on these pages yesterday, estimates that an extra 825 million people could be fed worldwide by swapping where crops are grown. And there are other growth areas, like vertical farming, that are showing promise as scaleable solutions to the challenges of food production.
Check out some of the food and agriculture events lined up at COP23, which is on until 17 November.
