Tomorrow is Agriculture Action Day at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP23) in Bonn.
A programme of Global Climate Action events get underway in Bonn tomorrow. And a collaborative group of organisations and institutions, led by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), will showcase agriculture-based climate solutions – as part of Agriculture Action Day.
“The event will highlight successful actions that contribute to agriculture-based solutions for addressing climate change in livestock, traditional agriculture systems, water, soil, food loss and waste, and integrated landscape management, and also includes sessions on climate data and Climate-Smart Agriculture. Young farmers will follow the event and present their impressions of the proposed agriculture-based climate solutions during the opening and closing plenaries,” the programme states.
Innovators Magazine, named today as a key partner of COP23, will be featuring details of its key events – and the stories they generate – throughout the conference, which runs until 17 November.
