Europe is a world leader when it comes to ‘making the circular economy a reality’.
Speaking last year, the EU Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Karmenu Vella, said “the voyage we are on is towards a more circular economy, a more sustainable future.”
And today the European Parliament rubber stamped the acceleration of that voyage by approving a package of ambitious waste management targets.
