Clean water call to action

The theme of today’s World Water Day is valuing water – to help achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.

Water is recognised as a basic human right. Yet 844 million people still ‘lack basic drinking water access’, according to World Vision.

Charity: water – founded by innovator, Scott Harrison – is doing amazing work in this area and has helped nearly 12 million people gain access to clean water. The Charity: water story is a truly inspiring one, demonstrating what people power can do to tackle the heartbreaking and unacceptable reality of water scarcity.

For anyone looking to make a difference, supporting this initiative is a sure way to do it. Watch the video to learn more.
