U.S. Bank (USB) is teaming up with Silicon Valley’s iconic Plug and Play accelerator to access – and support the development of – cybersecurity solutions.
The global Plug and Play cross-sectoral accelerators have featured several times on these pages, as corporates and countries worldwide increasingly seek to capitalise on the platform’s method of connecting startups with the innovation needs of today’s corporates.
And USB is signing up for its new Cybersecurity Innovation Platform – and will work with the 15 startups in the programme to tap into their solutions.
David Johnson, security innovation lead at USB, said: “Our partnership with Plug and Play’s Cybersecurity Program provides us an opportunity to engage with startups and see how their innovations address current or foreseeable needs. Not only are we looking to address potential use cases within U.S. Bank, but this partnership also enables us to help influence innovation in the broader information security sector by encouraging the participating companies.”
USB joins Deloitte and RSM as cybersecurity corporate partners of the Plug and Play accelerator.
