A tomato-based vegan alternative to raw tuna has been recognised as an ‘Outstanding Innovation’ by an American supermarket chain.
The ahimi product from Ocean Hugger Foods – which has previously featured on these pages – won the award at the Whole Foods Market Supplier Awards. Renowned US chef, James Corwell, developed the product, as he wanted to find a solution to the depleted numbers of fish swimming in the oceans.
