Startups asked to zero hunger

(GERMANY)

Pioneering young companies developing game-changing solutions designed to solve world hunger are being encouraged to apply for a United Nations (UN) startup programme.

The Innovation Accelerator from the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP) was launched last year. The Munich-based initiative seeks social innovators who are striving to ensure people don’t have to go hungry.

Selected startups can access up to $100,000 in support and the input of experts working for WFP, the world’s ‘largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide’.
