To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Innovators Magazine in 2025, every month this year we will publish some of our milestone moments: the stories, podcasts, initiatives, projects and partners that have shaped our journey so far. Here’s a story from January of this year, and the handover of our World Future Forum edition to the President of the Assembly Parliament of North Macedonia.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen welcomes the first-ever World Future Forum in our new special event edition produced in partnership with organisers, Allied4Future.
In this edition, we step inside the Unicorn Factory in Lisbon, speak to the city’s Mayor, and former European Commissioner of Innovation, Carlos Moedas; as well as Maria da Graça Carvalho, Portugal’s Minister for Environment and Energy; Shiva Dustdar, Head of the EIB Institute, Tim van der Hagen, rector of Delft University of Technology and Delft’s Marceline du Prie, ; and A4F’s Roland Strauss, about many of the key issues shaping our future: climate, AI, quantum technology, geoengineering and space.

As Europe’s Innovators Magazine celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025, we are proud to mark this milestone with a special edition.
On the new Forum, EU Climate Pact Ambassador, IIija Vuchkov writes on Linkedin: “At a high-level meeting with the Parliaments of the EU candidate countries, I had the distinct privilege of presenting Innovators Magazine during a productive working meeting with Afrim Gashi, President of the Assembly Parliament of North Macedonia. Our discussions centered on potential collaborations between the parliaments of EU candidate countries and institutions in Brussels under coordination of K4I Forum in the European Parliament.
