Blockchain innovators are being urged to take the Great Eggspectations challenge and transform the egg supply chain.
The world’s most influential annual food innovation summit, Seeds&Chips, in collaboration with the Coop and IBM, are leading the initiative, which is searching for blockchain solutions that can strengthen the egg supply chain. Marco Gualtieri, Seeds&Chips Founder and Chairman, said “using blockchain for food is just one example of the enormous opportunities for economic development that are on the horizon for the food sector.”
The deadline to apply for Great Eggspectations is 31 August. Whoever wins will have the opportunity to pilot their innovation with the Coop ‘using IBM technology and €120,000 in IBM Cloud credit’.
