Promoting collaboration and advancing research in biotechnology were key components of a new deal signed in San Diego this week.
The agreement between the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and China’s Pharmaceutical Association Committee (RDPAC) will also see the pair work together to inspire innovation and further integrate China into the global biotech industry.
“This agreement continues the longstanding relationship between BIO and RDPAC and deepens our cooperative efforts to advance advocacy and outreach for the biotechnology industry in China. Together we will continue to highlight the value of this industry in benefiting society and addressing global health challenges,” said Joe Damond, the Executive Vice President, International Affairs at BIO.
