A pan-European platform akin to an innovation challenge matchmaking service is tackling issues relating to COVID-19. Called ‘Care & Industry together against CORONA’ it is being led by organisations including the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and Flanders Care.
What is it?
It is essentially a meeting place for regions across the continent to generate and fast-track positive outcomes in the fight against the pandemic. The platform is an active online community where healthcare providers are sharing specific details of what they need – and companies, clusters, academia, governments, and support organisations are responding with proposals and solutions. By providing a marketplace where key actors can publish what they have to offer on a range of themes linked to COVID-19, including: diagnostics, IT, gaming technology, and consumer goods, it is boosting collaboration and providing answers to the most pressing pandemic-related problems.
