The Malta based German entrepreneur Andreas Wil Gerdes is my guest on today’s Inside Ideas.
After selling his first business at the age of 20, Andreas worked out of a garage and began building what would become part of Orange PLC, in a journey that has seen him become a leading figure at the forefront of the global mobile telecoms revolution for over 25 years.
Andreas is also passionate about food and ensuring it is better managed. For him, mothers are the agents of change best positioned to spearhead a healthy food revolution. On Inside Ideas he tells me that in Europe it should be criminal to throw away food, because it isn’t a shortage of food that is the problem, he explains, rather the poor management of it.
Inside Ideas is on every Tuesday + Thursday. You can watch all the shows on YouTube, and listen to the audio wherever you get your podcast. And remember to follow the show on Instagram and Facebook.
Marc is Editor-at-Large for Innovators Magazine and host of INSIDE IDEAS, his OnePoint5Media video podcast show. Marc is a member of the World Economic Forum Expert Network, Resilient Futurist, and award-winning Global Food Reformist.
